The Kimpton Banneker Names Walter Silva Executive Chef

The Kimpton Banneker, managed by Valor Hospitality Partners, has appointed Walter Silva as the Executive Chef and McColbert Evrard as the director of food and beverage. The hotel has also launched a new menu at its French bistro, Le Sel, coinciding with the opening of Le Sel’s outdoor patio. Chef Silva brings nearly twenty years of experience and will oversee menu development and staff training. Evrard will manage all food and beverage operations across the hotel’s dining outlets. The revamped menu at Le Sel features elevated French cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.
